About

From 1992 to 2019 I built and led Prisma IT, custom software and enterprise architecture for international organisations and governments, with offices in six countries. That was the middle stretch of a forty-plus-year career in IT, which makes me an IT veteran who survived both browser wars and plenty of hype cycles since. In 2023 I acquired CareerHandling, founded in 2003, focusing on outplacement and career management. Omerus offers AI advice and fractional CxO roles. AcmeBrainCorp is my AI-run company, where I do my own work with my team of about 30 AI agents, so I know where it helps and where it breaks. That is also where I write about AI, what organisations actually get out of it, and what it takes to make it work.
